Introduction

Zhang Yong, the founder of Xinrong Ji, was born in Linhai, Taizhou, andhas had a passion for gourmet food since he was a child. In 1989, Zhang started his little food stall by the walkway in Linhai. He found that most of the seafood sold at the market was frozen, and fresh seafood was quiet rare. The idea of selling fresh seafood came into his mind. The food stall gradually developed into one of the top restaurants in Taizhou. After a refurbishment in 1995, Zhang Yong renamed his business Xinrong Ji and continued his gourmet journey. Now Zhang Yong has many branches in different cities, among them Shanghai Xinrong Ji is a one-star Michelin restaurant.
