Introduction

In the year of 1894, Zhou Zhongxiang, the uncle of Lu Xun, opened a little bistro at Duchang Fang, named Xianheng. The name of the bistro, which came from Yijing, means everything goes well. This little bistro was mentioned for several times in Lu Xun’s works, and earned its name with the spread of Lu Xun’s works. With a history over 100 years, now it is one of the most famous restaurant in Shaoxing.

Here, the guests will have a chance to taste all kind of Shaoxing dishes. Since Shaoxing is famous for wine, many local food are pickled in wine, for example, the chicken pickled in wine, dried fish picked in wine, crabs pickled in wine, kidney pickled in wine and so on.
