Introduction

The well-known Xuedou Temple may be your first choice when you want to find a place for meditation in Ningbo. It is also one of the ten Zen Buddhist Temples and the ashram of the Laughing Buddha "Maitreya". When Su Dongpo (a famous ancient poet) read the "Xuedou Extolments", the longing and yearning for going to the Xuedou Temple arose spontaneously. If you have enough time for meditation, then you can choose to stay in the temple for 6 to 7 days. Every day, you can practice morning recitals and chant the Buddhist classics about Maitreya together with the monks. After meditation, you can also climb the Xuedou Mountain and enjoy the undulating green-hills, crystal-clear spring, fresh air and the soft Buddhist sounds.Tips: adult ticket: 90 yuan / person.
