After three years, Qiandao Lake Water Sprinkling Festival makes a comeback.
Qiandao Lake Water Sprinkling Festival started in mid-summer of 2008. Since then, the festival has become a great occasion for citizens to enjoy the coolness of the water and themselves in summer nights. It has received more than 100,000 citizens every summer. In 2016, Qiandao Lake Water Sprinkling Festival entered a dormant state due to site constraints and other reasons, which is a great pity for both adults and children.
To enrich urban tourism, citizen's nightlife as well as summer water tourism products, on July 12th, the Xiushui Street Company of Qiandao Lake Tourism Group officially launched the Qiandao Lake Water-Sprinkling Carnival.

The square for Xiushui Street Water-Sprinkling was built near Qiandao Lake and the water used for the festival is from the depth of Qiandao Lake, which is the water source of the Chinese famous bottled water, the "little bit sweet" Nongfu Spring.
